We hope you find this series full of recommendations, insights, and wisdom on data, data collection, metrics, analysis, and research for fundraising to be helpful and eye opening.

DataLines combines over 40 years of fundraising experience with cutting edge data analysis to bring a boutique, specialized service to the Jewish fundraising world. Whether you have 500 donors or 50,000, DataLines can help your organization reach new fundraising heights.

Data analysis is a powerful tool in nonprofit fundraising. It can offer insights into which donors to solicit, which campaign approach is best, how to improve donor retention, how to allocate funds, and more. It is the best gift you can give your giving team to reach your fundraising goals more easily.

The most important factor in accurate data analysis is accurate, complete, usable data!

  7. Method
  8. Date of Donation
If possible, the following data points are powerful to collect:

  2. Demographic Information
  • Age
  • Gender
  • Occupation
  • Community Identification
  • Giving Preferences
    • Website
    • Text
    • Email
